Quarterly Board Meetings

We’ll gather together live and in-person 4 times per year for a 2-day “Board Meeting.” Enjoy yourself in an immersive community of like-minded peers who you can relate to, connect with, give to and learn from. Our Scale Team Mentors along with your fellow members will present their BEST proven and tested strategies for increasing their leveraged sales, bankable profit, and overall value of their company.

**NOTE: Quarterly Board Meetings are also live-streamed in a hybrid-meeting format, so you and your team can attend virtually if you’re unable to make it to the in-person gatherings.*

Advisory Board Peer Groups

Advisory Boards are 6 – 10 member peer groups led by a “been there, done that” Founders Board Chair. Groups meet monthly (usually over Zoom) for a structured, 90-minute board meeting designed to help you:

  • Breakthrough bottlenecks
  • Stay accountable to your goals
  • Process new opportunities
  • Commiserate on the losses, and…
  • Celebrate the wins!!!

**NOTE: We take great care in forming our Advisory Board groups. Some of the placement factors include, but are not limited to, business stage (i.e. revenue), skill sets (complimentary and non-competitive), and availability (finding a meeting time that’s convenient for you).*

The Quality of a Mastermind is Determined by Who is NOT Allowed in the Room

Since any group is only as good as its “worst” member, we set out to build a mastermind and coaching program made up of only successful (but humble), experienced (but open-minded), and ambitious (but ethical) entrepreneurs. You know…the kind of people WE want to hang out with. To that end, here are our core membership requirements:

Entrepreneurial Leader.
Founder/CEO or controlling shareholder

2+ years in current business (or 4+ years entrepreneurial experience)

$1M+ Annual Revenue ($5M+ Annual Revenue to qualify for FBX)

Sincere desire to at least 3X revenue and profit in 3 - 5 years

Possesses a willingness to learn and a sincere desire to share

Able and willing to attend monthly Advisory Board meetings (90-min)

*Note: Meeting the specific quantitative requirements does not automatically guarantee admittance into Founders Board. There are other more important, qualitative requirements that will be addressed during the interview and onboarding process.

You’ll meet with one of our enrollment managers for a joint interview where we’ll discuss program details, answer questions, and determine which program is the best fit.

You’ll connect with one of our Founders Board Chairs for a final interview and to begin the planning and onboarding process.

You’ll meet your fellow members, attend your first Advisory Board meeting, and get some “quick win” strategies. (Our goal is for you to ROI your investment in 90 days or less.)

The Founders Board experience includes a customized onboarding and kickstart, so you can get started right away.

You and your team can attend as much or as little of the live intensives, Scale Team AMAs, and Momentum Coaching Sessions as you like. All sessions are recorded and questions can be submitted ahead of time if you can’t make a session.

That said, we do ask that you commit at least 90 minutes a month for your monthly Advisory Board meetings, as well as 2-3 hours once a quarter for the Quarterly Board Meeting events.

Beyond that, everything else is as-needed and when-needed.

Up to you! We hold 4 meetings a year (34 mastermind meetings and 1 retreat) at 5-star resorts. You can choose to attend in-person or virtually via Zoom.

The live, in-person Founders Board X meetings are typically held in April, July, and October, and the annual, “Get Scalable Live” event is October 3 – 5 in Austin, TX. Exact dates, meeting locations, and a complete calendar of events will be shared during the application interview.

Our live meetings are typically held in Austin, Texas and San Diego, California, plus we hold a “retreat-style” meeting at a luxury vacation resort where you are encouraged to bring your partner and family. Some of our previous meeting locations include Punta Mita, Mexico, Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, and Deer Valley, Utah.

Yes! Founders Board membership includes access to the live meetings for yourself plus a business partner or key executive. Also, with the exception of the live meetings and monthly Advisory Board meetings, your team members have access to all Founders Board trainings and events.

Don’t have a business partner or key executive? Don’t worry, your Program Specialist will discuss options with you during your application review call.

No, not yet. Founders Board is for experienced entrepreneurs running established businesses with 7 and 8-figure revenue momentum. You are still welcome to apply, though, because we like to find ways to support earlier-stage entrepreneurs so you can come to us when you are ready.

Scalable Business Advisors (the mentors) are required to show multiple years of proven experience as an entrepreneur or as an executive leader in an entrepreneurial company to be chosen. They then must complete extensive training to work with members and be licensed to deploy our proprietary tools and frameworks. The selection process is rigorous because we strive to provide you with only the best mentors.

Founders Board members get access to weekly live small group coaching sessions with Scalable Business Advisors. You’ll get a chance to ask your specific questions in the same manner as 1:1, but you’ll have a group of other trusted members there as well who can provide additional feedback and support.

You also get access to our “Scale Team 6” mentors for micro-coaching via weekly AMAs. These are the same experts we use internally for our portfolio companies when asking for advice about our operations, marketing, sales, finance, legal, or mergers and acquisitions.

Your Advisory Board will be made up of 10-15 members led by a “been-there-done-that” Scalable Business Advisor. We create and fill your personal Advisory Board based on business stage, industry, and time zone availability.

Yes! And in fact, we encourage you to. You can add up to 5 executive team members to your account. These team members can access all the recorded trainings as well as attend the intensive workshops, AMAs, and coaching sessions.
